Making the Good Louder: My 2025 in Review

Looking back at 2025, it’s been quite a year. So much has happened—both in the world around us and in my own life. There has been good and bad. Politics, global events, uncertainty… the world feels like it’s at a crossroads. People are polarized, some are moving toward extremes, and meeting in the middle—finding common ground and coexisting across political or religious differences—can feel harder than ever.

On a personal level, I got married this year, and I launched Inkforma, a company I’m proud of. It’s gaining traction. I worked multiple events—mostly in California (San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco)—and even traveled coast-to-coast to Charlotte, NC. I couldn’t be prouder. It’s a dream job, and it continues to grow steadily.

Some standout moments included working at Oracle Park for the San Francisco Giants Opening Day and supporting nonprofits that uplift underrepresented communities—helping build resilient, connected neighborhoods and supporting those in need. It’s an honor to work alongside organizations that prioritize social justice and long-term community impact. This year, I supported grantmaking institutions, CDFIs, women’s centers, health equity initiatives, and community-investment organizations.

Collaborating with people and organizations like these gives me hope. Their work reminds me that, despite the political climate, good is still happening. The news may constantly spotlight what’s broken, but the good too often goes unnoticed.

So as I reflect on 2025 and look ahead to 2026, I want to stay focused on what’s good—and not lose sight of it. There are countless people doing meaningful work, and that’s where we should begin. We can choose to be part of that. We don’t have to add to the anger, fear, or frustration already out there. The world has more than enough of that, and the loudest voices aren’t always the wisest ones.

We need to make the good louder.

With Inkforma, I intend to be a tool for exactly that—to amplify important ideas, make positive work more visible and compelling, and support the leaders and organizations pushing for unity, understanding, empathy, compassion, and progress.

Love to all—and happy 2026.
